Well, as per the recent report shared by a famous Weibo tipster, Huawei to lunch the public beta of HarmonyOS NEXT during the HDC 2024, which is scheduled to held on June 2024. Well, its commercial public version will released for Chinese users.

By simplifying the codebase of the Huawei operating system, HarmonyOS NEXT has become easier to use. In parallel with the global version of OpenHarmony released in Europe, Oniro OS is built with the latest major version of OpenHarmony aimed at a global audience.

It is expected to be available in the Western markets in the fourth quarter of 2024 and in the first half of 2025 after the introduction in China. Huawei has developed global and Chinese strategies, it plans to launch EMUI 14 mobile phones, HarmonyOS 4 tablets, wearables and accessories in the 12-18 months.

However, the developers who had registered themself for the HarmonyOS native application and running API 10 SDK, DevEco studio, IDE  on their phones are must abide by competition rules regarding app and operating system leaks.
