Huawei ranks 1st in European Patent app list thanks to HarmonyOS native
According to a recent report, Huawei ranks first in the European Patent app again for three consecutive years. Somewhere, it is expected as Huawei is back to back launching the HarmonyOS Native application in the country.
Well, going with the number then the Chinese tech giant het 199,275 patent applications to the European patent office in 2023. While focusing on the region then it is not limited to China, some other countries and regions are also included like the US, Germany, Japan, and South Korea.

Huawei ranks first in the European Patent app
On comparing this data with the previous year [2022], then this year, the company gained an 8.8% increment. However, the company submitted a total of 20,735 applications. While talking about its competitors, then Samsung ranked second, followed by LG and Qualcomm.
Well, this official Europen patent list clearly shows the target of Huawei, although an official statement from Huawei ‘from 2021 to 2023, R &D investment in the past three years accounted for more than 20% of the company’s revenue’ enough to understand things easily.

However, Huawei has already announced that HarmonyOS NEXT will launch in Q4 of 2024 with tones of HarmonyOS Native app only for the devices running over HMOS. On the other hand, Huawei Global users are still struggling with EMUI 14 beta activity which is also not going smoother.
