Huawei release HarmonyOS 4 public beta update to P30, Mate 20 and more
Here’s good news for Huawei headset users, the company recently started releasing the HarmonyOS 4 public beta update to several devices including Huawei P30, Huawei Mate 20, and 12 more Huawei and Honor devices in China. That means you are not eligible to test the public beta of firmware.
If you are one, who is excited to experience the latest version on your devices, can register for the public beta testing using the below given guides. Although, this is the first batch of public beta activity, those who missing their device from the list don’t panic. The company will soon release another batch of devices for you.

- Open My Huawei App
- Go to Home
- Upgrade Early Access
- Fill the details
- Once successfully submitted go to ‘Software update’
- Now install the new version
Note: Huawei P30, Mate 20 and Nova 5 Pro devices must run on the 3.0.0168 build version, and for Honor phones, the 3.0.0165 version is baseling, to get this latest HarmonyOS 4 public beta.
