Huawei and Amazon signed patent cross-licensing to resolve lawsuits
Huawei recently announced signing a patent with Amazon to resolve the litigation between both companies. Well, the company has not opened up about the patent but it is a cross-licensing agreement for multi-years to will be a good collaboration between both multinational companies.
Both the company’s directors are happy enough after the patent and this will help them to innovate, and contribute to the standardization process around the world.

What is Cross Licensing:
Under this license, two companies or parties allow each other to exploit the subject of the patent to each other. When cross-licensing is used, each party retains control over the commercial product. Even though monetary majesties might be paid by one party to the other, cross-licensing suggests neither party pays the other a royalty.
Notably, Huawei has not mentioned more about the patent and the subject, but the director of the Intellectual Property Department and Amazon’s Vice president of Intellectual Property mentioned their station below:
