A big break from Global Microsoft – the server is totally down due to a major technical issue the global Microsoft server, and it affected more than 160 flights, markets, banks, and other sectors. Meanwhile, in India, Vistara, Indigo, SpiceJet, and Akasa Air are facing technical issues that directly affect booking, check-in, and flight updates.

As per the report, there is a technical bug in the Microsoft system. IT Miniter of India Ashiwini Vaihnaw shared on X that MEITY is in touch with Microsoft and its associates regarding the global outage.

Hence, the reason for this outage has been identified and updates have been released to resolve the issue. CERT is issuing a technical advisory, the NIC network is not affected.

Reason for Microsoft’s down:

Microsoft had an outage due to crowd strike agent Falcon sensor updates. It has been reported that window hots related to crowd strike agent ‘Falcon Sensor’ are facing outages and crashing due to recent updates received from the products. The concerned Windows hosts are experiencing a Blue screen of Death related to the Falcon sensor.Microsoft server down
